Friday, July 9th
Jazz Era Party & Concert Around Town

Fenwick Street / Historic Downtown Leonardtown
Come in costume and enjoy jazz-era fun in historic Leonardtown all along Fenwick Street beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 9th. The festivities include live music provided by GrooveSpan, an antique car show and jazz related activities offered by the Fenwick Street Businesses and cash prizes for best costumes for singles and couples. The Fenwick Inn will host a jazz era cocktail party with live music provided by the Chesapeake Orchestra "Swing Combo" under the direction of Jeffrey Siberschlag and swing dance lessons from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Charcuterie boxes will be available for purchase (while supplies last) and there will be a cocktail bar featuring the Inn’s signature jazz fest cocktail, the Hurricane, beer, and wine. VIP seating is available (fee required).

 

VIP Ticket includes: (Per Person)

Private Seating in VIP section, VIP Server, Shrimp Boil Box (Shrimp, Cherrystone Clams, Mussels, Corn on the Cob, Hush Puppies, and Watermelon), 2 Drink Tokens (can be used on beer, wine, or signature drink). $45 per person, plus applicable Eventbrite taxes & fees.

 

Advanced registration required for VIP section. Space is limited to 40. Due to the nature of the event, tickets are not refundable. Tickets are transferable, just let us know the name of the person you are transferring your ticket to within 24hrs of the event.

 

This event will be held outdoors under a pavilion and umbrellas.

 

There is an entrance to the venue from the public parking lot, 41660 Park Ave, across from The Good Earth.

The Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival main event. Relax waterside on the museum lawn and enjoy live national jazz artists (Featuring Opener: Latrice Carr; and Headliner: Marion Meadows), lots of delicious seafood and gorgeous views of the Potomac and St. Clement’s Island at this popular signature event in Colton’s Point, MD. 
 


 

Sunday, July 11th
Various Locations Throughout Leonardtown

The weekend ends on a high note with jazz-themed activities all Sunday long throughout Leonardtown, including jazz brunches at Antoinette’s Garden and the Front Porch, a flapper-style barre class at SPICE Studio, live jazz music at the Olde Town Pub and at the Port of Leonardtown Winery, fun jazz related activities around Town, and new this year, jazz cruises setting sail from Leonardtown Wharf.

Born in Southern Maryland, and now based in Tennessee, Country singer/songwriter/musician, Sam Grow, grew up on "old school" music and lists Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Eric Clapton, and Gavin DeGraw as some of his influences. Sam performs in Leonardtown Square for the first time Sunday, August 22nd. Concert time TBA.

An exciting cover band from Amish Country that performs any and all music styles plays Leonardtown Square for the first time on Saturday, October 16th from 3 PM - 9 PM. Unfinished Business kicks things off at 3 PM, then the Amish Outlaws take the stage at 6 PM. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, and why not grab dinner from one of our local restaurants to enjoy during the show. 

THE SHOW'S ABOUT TO BEGIN! The time is 7:26 PM. The rain has cleared and the The Amish Outlaws are about to take the stage. Come on out to Leonardtown Square for the exciting Finale of the Leonardtown Summer Music Festival! Bring a lawn chair or better yet, pick a table in the extended dining areas at Antoinette's Garden, The Rex or Sweetbay Restaurant & Bar. Enjoy a glass of wine, dinner or a snack and tasty desserts while enjoying the show.
